Decided I’d talk a little bit about the process of creating my motion graphic and finalizing the overall project when it all came together in the end. Here’s a comparison of my final storyboard compared to my rough storyboard scene by scene to show how closely they follow each-other.

In the end, I decided to make a few changes to the overall flow of the scenes but I still followed the format closely and believe it worked effectively.
On the topic of animating my piece together, most of it was done through key-framing, scaling and rotating to achieve what I was trying to go for in my storyboard, I made sure the animations were accurate enough to express what I was trying to go for and I used various sky-boxes I created for the different scenes in the project so I could scale up or down to emulate the feeling of movement.

In the end, I believe creating this motion graphic was a good way to dabble into an area of design that I’m not too familiar with and I hope to improve my skills in this area in the coming years because I feel like it could offer me even more opportunities, in any case, I feel like I’ve learned a lot from this and hope to do more in the future.
